We also provide our customers with quality stamps made out of plastic – but for these we cannot provide a lifetime guarantee as they are not designed for repeated frequent use. The Solid plastic stamps come with an ink pad in place which is also easy to replace.
Until just a few years ago these self inking stamps were available as only metal or plastic alternatives but now modern technology has brought a new type of stamps to the market – the smart stamps. The difference between smart stamps and the traditional self inking stamps is that smart stamps have a text plate that is not separated from the ink pad. When you compress a smart stamp you compress the ink pad and the ink runs through thousands of tiny holes on the hard surface button of the ink pad to make the impression.
Self inking stamps are either text only stamps, a dater with text or just a dater. We give a long term guarantee on the Solid metal stamps with text and dater – 12 years, which is the duration of the date bands. Both the metal and the plastic stamps with text and/or dater are supplied with an easy to replace ink pad.
It is possible today to buy very cheap plastic stamps made in China - but we do not recommend our customers to do this. We tell our customers to trust our advice and not buy the Chinese cheap stamps because they do not last and they end up paying more because they have to be replaced often – no Chinese manufacturer gives a lifetime guarantee on any of their stamps, with good reason.
